Basalt

Basalt is a dark gray material of volcanic origin, specifically from Garrotxa.

It is a gray material that, once polished, acquires a dark blue-gray color with very unique waters.

It is the hardest material after diamond. And it is a material particularly suitable for very hot environments (slabs for cooking meat on the stone, fires on the floor, bread ovens,...).

Basalt is not altered by the passage of time or by contact with abrasive chemical products, which makes it a great material for public works.

It is used more and more for the interior decoration of the home (bathroom sinks, tiles, floors...) as it is a very durable material and because of its color as it combines very well with wood, stainless steel and the white sanitary ware.
